許多的「第一」在莊淑婷身上發生，她是台中慈濟醫院啟業第一位報到的同仁，也是慈濟醫療體系以護理背景獲擢升為醫院副院長的第一位。
從慈濟大學到花蓮慈濟醫院再到慈濟長照大家庭，我始終薰陶在靜思語中，而最讓我印象最深刻，仍銘記在心的一句上人法語是「修行在人間」。
